Senior Manager of Technical Accounting

JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Manager of Technical Accounting will: Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards issued from the FASB, EITF, SEC, and other accounting standard setters Provide technical accounting support for business unit finance management and other corporate functions such as Treasury, Tax, Corporate Consolidations, Revenue Control, Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Controls and Business Operating units Compile Corporate Accounting policies Compile a quarterly Accounting and Reporting Summary of emerging accounting standards for the Company's Audit & Finance Committee members of the Board of Directors. Assist in the External Reporting process by writing certain footnotes and gathering supporting documentation REQUIRED SKILLS 10+ years of Accounting experience  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA or parts passed Previous experience in a Public Accounting setting Experience with GAAP, General Ledger, Sarbanes Oxley, and SEC Reporting Microsoft Excel proficient (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, etc.) Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills MBA Experience working within a Big 4 and/or other national firm J145472
Salary Range: $125K - $140K
Minimum Qualification
11 - 15 years

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
