Summary:
Managing and overseeing receiving, sorting, ticketing, packing ,and shipping inventoryteam building and management.
The goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the warehouse/stockroom to service our multiple retail locations in NYC.
Key
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Inventory Management:
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Operational Efficiency:
Streamline warehouse processes to optimize efficiency and productivity, minimizing errors and delays.
Vendor Management:
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (2
years) in warehouse management or a similar role, with a track record of success in optimizing warehouse operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
